There’s more to hotel alarm clocks than first meets the eye
The challenge
Brandstand’s innovative approach to in-room technology products, designed to enhance the guest experience, has proven a hit with the USA hotel and hospitality industry. That Media Thing was tasked with communicating the benefits of Brandstand’s power and charging products to a European hospitality audience who might not otherwise know about them (or cannot immediately see the value in them).

At That Media Thing, we believe that a great infographic should have an immediate overall impact. It should be bold and colourful, with eye-catching graphical elements that encourage further exploration. There needs to be a clear start point and a clearly structured path for the audience to follow, with informative and accurate information presented in an entertaining way. And any great infographic needs to end with a strong call to action. What’s the point of all this information? Where can readers go if they want to know more?
TMT’s editorial and art team created a number of high-impact infographics to communicate the core benefits of Brandstand’s power and charging products, promoting them through a targeted Social Media Campaign. Top-of-the-funnel Awareness infographics explored subjects such as the ‘History of the alarm clock’ or ‘The future of hotel room design’. While more Consideration-based content focused on showcasing innovative product features and technology standards in more accessible and engaging ways.
All infographics were produced in-house and designed from scratch by TMT’s art team, ensuring that the client received unique artwork that could be used on its website and in print if required. When used within a Content Marketing Program, the high-impact promotional assets helped to deliver high-quality audience traffic to Brandstand’s website, resulting in a flow of regular leads contributing to tangible growth opportunities within the European region that we ran the activity.
"I would recommend That Media Thing as a highly personable team of expert communicators and inspired creatives, whose desire to succeed on our behalf is a refreshing approach to professionalism that works on so many levels."
