That Media Thing has a vacancy for an experienced Paid Media Manager to work with our Demand Gen Services team to help provide exceptional paid media services to our clients.

Our highly effective approach to paid media marketing is driving significant growth for our clients, and we need a confident strategist to deliver high-quality services across multiple disciplines, specifically in client, account, and project management.

We are recruiting for a full-time, hybrid-working position based at That Media Thing’s head office in Bath, UK. As Paid Media Manager, the successful candidate will be working within an established team across a range of client projects, most of which have global marketing needs.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver paid media campaigns for clients on various digital marketing platforms
  • Apply a high-level of proactive management for optimal paid media campaign performance
  • Monitor and compile meaningful client related KPIs and strategic analysis
  • Ensure campaigns meet client objectives, offering client-facing analysis and recommendations for performance improvement
  • Prepare and present all required reports, and contribute to client-facing calls with clients
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and partners
  • Work with the content and design teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients
  • Keep up to date with platform changes, new social media and digital marketing strategies and best practices to both share with the team, and apply new thinking to client campaigns

Requirements – Experience & Skills

  • An authentic passion for digital marketing, built through work experience and formal education, with the desire to have a successful career in the industry
  • 3+ Years in the role working with LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (social media is a must)
  • The ability to demonstrate a high level of account management including analysis, optimisation and reporting within these platforms
  • Be bold enough to experiment and have the tenacity to learn from occasional failures
  • Have strong interpersonal skills nurturing good, honest, internal as well as external communications
  • Have strong organisational skills including effective and realistic time-management
  • Be able to take direction from and support more senior staff in the delivery of big projects
  • Be highly motivated, self-confident, flexible and nimble
  • Have a desire to learn and continuously develop personal skills and knowledge within core social media and analytics disciplines
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication internally and externally with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate the skills and desire to develop beyond the standard role and to build something of unique value to TMT
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite, and task-based tools
